What We Do

We lay hedges in the traditional styles (Devon/Cornwall/North Somerset/South of England and Midlands) depending on your context. We use hand tools such as billhooks, axes, pruning saws and chainsaws to provide a tidy finish, always with best practice for hedge ecology and maintenance in mind.

If you manage or own a coppice, or woodland we are available to help you. We have experience and knowledge in coppicing and woodland management and are available to offer support and help in your woods

Sweet Chestnut is rich in tannins meaning it is naturally durable. Our sweet chestnut fence panels are not treated with any chemicals and  our fence posts are installed straight into the ground with no concrete. Expect sweet chestnut products to last outside for 20-30 years.

Scything and meadow management plans are available for clients who would like to manage their lawns/meadows in a low impact way without the use of fossil fuels and loud machinery.

We have experience building traditional dry stone walls- stand alone, for retaining purposes and repairing stone faced banks. 

Sasha has 6 years of growing and gardening experience, having worked in market gardens, community gardens and private clients.
